Soul singer Wilson Pickett dies:
Wilson Pickett, famous for his soul hits In The Midnight Hour and Mustang Sally, has died, aged 64.
I played Midnight Hour in bands all through high school and college. That song is one of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll. Damn he had soul.
